My name is Jeannette Ramos, currently living in Anchorage, Alaska - one of the most beautiful places to photograph.

Ever since I was a teenager I was fascinated with taking pictures. When I was 14 years old, I took my first photography class, and I knew from that moment I would be doing this throughout my life. Photography is a true self expression. I hope you enjoy viewing my work, I love sharing it for the world to see.

Portraits: I've always enjoyed photographing people. Capturing the facial expressions, revealing a persons character and insight into their way of life. To be able to capture their mood or demonstrate their relationship with others is the complexity I hope to achieve.

Children: Taking snapshots of children to me is interesting, especially if they aren't aware you are shooting them. You can capture the true essence and their innocence as they set there own moods to the image.

Animals: Shooting wild life in their natural state of being is the most enjoyable for me. A simple snap shot can be revealing and can also be very intimate.

Black & White: One of my favorites, both in digital & film always gives the subject a more interesting look.

Landscape: Nature at it's best. Grasping a peaceful scenery with your lens and holding onto a moment of bliss you may never see again...

These are all feelings I experience when shooting these subjects. In reality the camera should lead you straight to your subject and the rest could be told in different ways & many stories. These images I share of endless moments captured are not to be explained but, to be shared.
